At The June 16, 2007 District 53 Executive Committee meeting Division B Governor Marsha Kiley, ACB presented an educational segment on effective District Officer Role Transitions.

At the end or wrap-up of the segment, Marsha Kiley, outgoing Division B Governor, passed the symbolic Division B Gavel to her successor, Michael Aron, ACS with the assistance of former Division B Governors, Norm Thibodeau, DTM (current District Secretary), and Ute Brinkmann, DTM (current Public Relations Officer), with John Lynch, DTM, Ute's Division B predecessor and current District Governor, looking on.

The gavel pass ceremony was initiated by Ute at the end of her Division B Governor term, and it has been continued by Norm Thibodeau and now, Marsha Kiley.
