District 53 recognized as a Distinguished District for 2009-2010!
To the Members of District 53,
With our collective efforts in 2009-10 we have 'moved the district forward' and have finished strong!
Toastmasters International has just 'moved' our last club 'forward', Janice Brickwood's Southern Duchess Toastmasters Club # 1436813, from a prospective club to a newly chartered club as of 6/28/10!
As a result I am very happy to report that District 53 has met ALL of its 4 goals: clubs, membership payments, CCs and ACs and will be recognized as a Disttinguished District for 2009-10!!
I thank each and every one of you for your contributions and ask you to make 'success' a habit. It is now time to Have Fun and Get It Done in 2010-11!
